Our Autonomous Table Cleaning Robot made her first show at Singapore Marsiling Mall Hawker Center. The table cleaning robot developed by Weston Robot is a perfect example of empowering our aging society with [affordable] advanced robotics and AI technology. The system equips with one lidar-based autonomous navigation AMR base, a 6-DOF collaborative robot arm with a customized end-effector holding two cloths, AI/vision system. The entire motion planning and computer vision runs on NVIDIA Jetson XAVIER. The robot autonomously travels to each corner of the table, detects whether there are some valuable items on the table before making the mopping procedures. The robot arm cleans the table using two cloths (mimicking human actions). The project is supported by Singapore National Environmental Agency (NEA).

NEA CEO Luke Goh and his leadership team visited the site, and commented on the robots. There would be several improvements to be made for the table mopping robots, such as adding advanced AI capabilities to detect whether there are leftover items on the table; increasing the running speed of the robot as well as re-designing the dirty cloth changing procedures. With 5G available at the hawker center in future, we might also teleoperated robot to perform some other ad-hoc jobs.

06-04Weston Robot participated in a robotics and AI industry event at Republic Polytechnic, bringing together technology leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore the future of intelligent automation. During the event, our G1 Humanoid Robot captivated attendees with live demonstrations and interactive engagement. The showcase provided valuable opportunities to connect with industry partners and demonstrate real-world robotics applications.- 05-29
Weston Robot at WSH: Smarter, Safer Workplaces in Action
Weston Robot took part in the recent Workplace Safety & Health event, "Smarter, Safer Workplaces: The Role of Robotics & Technology in WSH." Dr Zhang Yanliang, our Chief Scientist, joined as a speaker, and we ran live demonstrations of our GO2 quadruped, Humanoid G1, and wearable exoskeleton — showing how robotics can be an everyday ally for workers on the ground.
05-06Robotics Meets HR: Weston Robot at HR Tech Asia 2026
Weston Robot supported HRM Asia at HR Tech Asia 2026, showcasing our Humanoid G1, wearable exoskeleton, and Firefighting B2 quadruped to HR leaders and worktech innovators from across the region. The platforms speak to the festival's themes of well-being, agility, and AI in the workplace, reaffirming Weston Robot's view that robotics belongs in any serious conversation about the future of work.
