Many thanks go to National Parks Board for introducing our autonomous robotic sweeper and perimeter-wire free autonomous RTK-based mower to Minister Desmond Lee at the recent event organized by LANDSCAPE INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE). It was our great honor to receive the visit of Singapore Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat yesterday. I shared with DPM about developing and deploying [affordable] deep-tech robots for road/water/table cleaning, grass cutting, tough site patrolling and inspection. We also shared with DPM about talent training such as advanced robotics developers, dedicated robotics technicians and operators.

The system equips with one lidar-based autonomous navigation AMR base, a 6-DOF collaborative robot arm with a customized-designed holders for two cloth, AI/vision system. The entire motion planning and computer vision runs on NVIDIA Jetson XAVIER. The robot autonomously travels to each corner of the table, detects whether there are some valuable items on the table before making the cleaning procedures.

NEA CEO Mr. Luke Goh and his leadership team from National Environmental Agency of Singapore visited Weston Robot to explore different robots used for environment protection and worker shortage mitigation in Singapore. Weston Robot's CEO Dr. Zhang Yanliang presented different robotics solutions for the environmental sector.

At the recent CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG) 2022, Weston Robot demonstrated a few robots aimed for environmental sustainability, including mosquito fogging robot, outdoor disinfection robot, USV for water cleaning, paved road sweeping robot, electrical robotics mower, and robot dogs for outdoor patrolling.

Since the middle of the coronavirus outbreak, homegrown robot developer and supplier Weston Robot has seen its revenue triple that of the year before, with its order books packed till the end of this year, chief executive Zhang Yanliang told The Business Times.

Weston Robot (Singapore) launches mobile robots to combat COVID-19. The mobile disinfection robots enable disinfection using chemicals for open area, and UV lights for enclosed spaces (MRT and dormitory). The mobile temperature screening robots proactively search for persons with abnormal body temperature. It can also be used for mask detection and social distance measuring.
