MTI Deputy Secretary Jane Lim Visited Weston Robot
Weston Robot had the great honor to host Jane Lim's visit. Jane is the Deputy Secretary (Trade) at Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore). Dr. Zhang shared with Jane about the company's effort to create more jobs for the local workforce in the robotics domain.
With the great support from government agencies, Weston Robot has deployed robots across different sectors in Singapore. Dr. Zhang shared with Jane about the effort that the team has put to create more deep-tech jobs in the robotics domain. Jane and other CSSD's colleagues exchanged ideas with the team to further increase the adoptions of robots.

The mobile disinfection robots enable disinfection using chemicals for open area, and UV lights for enclosed spaces (MRT and dormitory). The mobile temperature screening robots proactively search for persons with abnormal body temperature. It can also be used for mask detection and social distance measuring.
