On 8 January 2025, Cheongju University students and faculty visited Weston Robot for an insightful session on advanced robotics applications. The visit featured hands-on demonstrations of the Humanoid Robot G1, showcasing its capabilities in human-robot interaction, mobility, and precision tasks. The attendees were particularly fascinated by the humanoid robot’s potential in industries such as education, healthcare, and customer service, where its lifelike movements and adaptability could revolutionize operations.

The Industrial Robot Dog B2 was another highlight of the visit, impressing participants with its versatility in tasks such as security patrolling, logistics, and search and rescue operations. Its robust design and advanced AI capabilities demonstrated its efficiency in challenging environments, making it a critical asset for industries requiring reliable and autonomous solutions. The demonstration underscored how robotic innovation is paving the way for safer and more efficient industrial workflows.

In addition to the G1 and B2, Weston Robot showcased other cutting-edge robots designed for facility management, including cleaning, inspection, and maintenance systems. These robots exemplified how automation can enhance productivity while reducing manual labor in large-scale facilities. Cheongju University’s visit highlighted the growing synergy between academia and industry, inspiring students to envision future careers in robotics and fostering a deeper understanding of how these technologies are reshaping the world.

Weston Robot was honored to welcome students and faculty from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) for an immersive Learning Journey at our Singapore office. The delegation explored the latest advancements in AI, robotics, and embodied intelligence through hands-on demonstrations with our robot dog and AgileX robotic arm. Participants also gained valuable insights into our Vision-Language-Action (VLA) training workflow, learning how multimodal data is collected and used to train robots to understand human instructions and perform intelligent manipulation tasks.
