Weston Robot recently hosted an educational learning journey for students from Serangoon Garden Secondary School, a vibrant institution known for its commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of its students. The visit offered students a hands-on experience with advanced robotics technologies, enhancing their knowledge of science, technology, and engineering. This opportunity aligned with the school’s mission to equip students with skills relevant to the future workforce.
The learning session began with an introduction to Weston Robot’s Modular Robot. This system, consisting of various elements and modules with essential robotic functions, can be reconfigured to create integrated robotic systems capable of performing diverse tasks. The decision to introduce the Modular Robot first was deliberate, as it provided the students with a solid understanding of how modular systems work. By assembling and reconfiguring the modules, students got to witness firsthand the adaptability and versatility of modern robotic systems, sparking their interest in the possibilities of robotics.

After mastering the Modular Robot, the students were introduced to the Robot Dog – GO2 and the Exoskeleton, two of Weston Robot’s cutting-edge products. The Robot Dog – GO2 impressed the students with its agility and diverse applications, such as patrolling and performing search and rescue missions. Meanwhile, the Exoskeleton demonstration showcased how robotics can assist human workers in physically demanding tasks by reducing strain and enhancing efficiency.
