Weston Robot recently had the privilege of hosting a Ministry of Manpower delegation from Singapore at AgileX Robotics' headquarters in Dongguan, China — bringing together two of Asia's most dynamic robotics ecosystems. The visit was joined by Mr. Shawn Huang Wei Zhong, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Finance and Manpower, along with colleagues from the Infocomm Singapore Technology and Design (ISTD). The delegation's visit to AgileX Robotics' state-of-the-art facility underscored Singapore's growing commitment to forging deep, strategic ties with China's thriving robotics and advanced manufacturing sector, and Weston Robot's unique role as the bridge connecting both sides.

At the heart of the discussions were three strategic pillars that could shape the future of robotics and AI collaboration between the two countries. The parties explored opportunities to co-build data collection factories — a critical foundation for training next-generation AI systems — as well as establishing joint robotics and AI laboratories that would combine Singapore's innovation ecosystem with China's advanced manufacturing capabilities. Equally important was the shared ambition to nurture future engineers, ensuring a sustained pipeline of talent equipped to drive the robotics revolution forward.

This delegation visit reflects Weston Robot's vision of accelerating Singapore's rise as a global AI and robotics hub — not through ambition alone, but through concrete, action-oriented partnerships. By facilitating high-level dialogue between government stakeholders and leading robotics manufacturers, Weston Robot continues to play a pivotal role in translating policy intent into real-world outcomes. As Singapore doubles down on its Smart Nation and Future Economy agendas, collaborations like this one signal a bold and determined step toward building the infrastructure, talent, and technology ecosystems that will define the next decade of innovation.

05-06Weston Robot supported HRM Asia at HR Tech Asia 2026, showcasing our Humanoid G1, wearable exoskeleton, and Firefighting B2 quadruped to HR leaders and worktech innovators from across the region. The platforms speak to the festival's themes of well-being, agility, and AI in the workplace, reaffirming Weston Robot's view that robotics belongs in any serious conversation about the future of work.
05-05Supporting NCSS at NCSS Day 2026
Weston Robot supported NCSS at NCSS Day 2026, where Dr Zhang Yanliang joined the panel "The Future, Enable-AI, Technology and Innovation" and led a talk and demonstration featuring our Humanoid G1 and wearable exoskeleton. The exoskeleton points to how robotics can ease the physical demands on caregivers, while the Humanoid G1 engaged attendees throughout the day — in service of NCSS's "We First" vision.
04-28Weston Robot and Fortinet Demonstrate Cybersecurity on Humanoid and Quadruped Robots
As robots take on critical roles across industries, cybersecurity has become a non-negotiable foundation for safe and reliable deployment. Weston Robot, working with Fortinet, is demonstrating how enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions can protect humanoid robots and quadruped robot dogs in real-world operations. The demonstration covers secure communication, data integrity, and safeguarded remote operations — particularly for frontline workers in sensitive environments. Visitors to MTX 2026 are invited to experience this live at the Fortinet booth, where they can interact with and attempt to breach the secured systems firsthand. Weston Robot is committed to deploying robots that are not only capable, but cyber-resilient.
