A major attraction at the Weston Robot booth was the first-ever demonstration of their humanoid robot, G1, in Malaysia. Unlike other humanoid robots previously showcased in the country, the G1 is capable of walking around, which set it apart from its counterparts. This demonstration attracted significant interest, as it highlighted the company's strides in developing highly functional, human-like robots for practical applications. The G1 humanoid robot’s capabilities showed the potential for more advanced uses in both industrial and research settings.

Adding to the excitement, Weston Robot had a special guest at their booth: YB Dato' Haji Mohammad Yusof Apdal, the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI). The Deputy Minister personally tried out the robotics dogs and the humanoid robots, showcasing the government's growing interest in cutting-edge robotics technology for national development. His presence underscored the importance of innovation in science and technology, and his interaction with the robots exemplified the country's focus on advancing automation in critical sectors.
Weston Robot also demonstrated the 5G-teleoperation of their robotics dogs, a breakthrough technology designed for industrial applications. This feature allows for remote control of the robotics dogs over 5G networks, enhancing their use in hazardous or hard-to-reach environments. The 5G-teleoperation technology not only adds a layer of safety and efficiency to industrial operations but also opens up new possibilities for remote inspection and monitoring, further solidifying Weston Robot’s leadership in the robotics field.
Weston Robot’s participation at the KLCC event was made possible through an invitation from MRANTI Park, a leading Malaysian innovation hub dedicated to fostering technology development and collaboration. By being part of this prestigious event, Weston Robot had the opportunity to not only showcase its latest robotics innovations but also align with MRANTI’s vision of advancing Malaysia's technological ecosystem. This collaboration underscored the shared commitment to driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in Malaysia, further enhancing Weston Robot’s visibility and impact in the region. The partnership with MRANTI Park highlighted the potential for greater collaboration in the future to push the boundaries of innovation and automation in the country.
