In a key moment for the company, Weston Robot had the honor of formally programming the humanoid robot G1 to deliver the opening-board to Mr. Jeffrey Siow, the Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance. This high-level engagement underscores the government's strategic interest in robotics and automation as critical technologies for the future of Singapore's economy and public service sectors. Besides G1, the robot dog B2 on wheel and GO2 also went on the stages.
The company's demonstration was a comprehensive display of versatile robotic solutions. Attendees witnessed live demonstrations of the agile Unitree Robot Dog B2 and the smaller GO2, alongside the sophisticated humanoid robot G1. Further expanding the scope of embodied intelligence, Weston Robot also integrated specialized components into its showcase, including a robot arm from Kinova Robotics, a dexterous robot hand from BrainCo, and functional exoskeletons from SuitX.
