SINGAPORE – In a significant move to bolster Singapore's position as a global innovation hub, Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) has launched a new initiative highlighting the comprehensive range of grants, investor connections, and market-access programs available to startups at every stage of their growth journey.

The campaign, launched via a video presentation across its digital channels, underscores the government agency's commitment to de-risking innovation and fostering a vibrant ecosystem where local and international startups can scale and thrive. The video itself brings this message to life, featuring cutting-edge technology from local success story Weston Robot, which provided filming locations and demonstrations of its advanced Robot Dog B2 and humanoid robot G1.
The multi-pronged support framework detailed by EnterpriseSG is designed to address the key challenges faced by startups, from initial research and development to international expansion. Weston Robot serves as a prime example of a homegrown company that has successfully navigated this journey, evolving from a startup to a recognized player in the global robotics scene.
A key pillar of the support is financial assistance through grants. Programs like the Startup SG Founder grant were highlighted, which provides first-time entrepreneurs with seed capital and mentorship. For more mature, innovation-driven startups, the Startup SG Tech grant offers crucial funding for proof-of-concept and market development efforts, helping to transform proprietary technology into commercial-ready solutions.
Recognizing that funding alone is not enough, EnterpriseSG is also placing a strong emphasis on connecting startups with the right partners. The agency facilitates introductions to a vast network of venture capitalists, family offices, and corporate ventures. This bridge between promising startups and deep-pocketed investors is critical for securing subsequent funding rounds necessary for rapid scaling.
Furthermore, the campaign addresses the critical "Scale" phase. Through its Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) network, EnterpriseSG helps startups accelerate their international expansion by providing access to key overseas markets and innovation hotspots.
The inclusion of Weston Robot’s technology in the video powerfully illustrates the end goal of this support system: the development of deep-tech companies that create tangible, world-class products. The seamless operation of the Robot Dog B2 and humanoid G1 in a real-world office setting provides a compelling visual for the potential that EnterpriseSG aims to unlock within the local ecosystem.
This consolidated push to communicate available support comes at a time when global economic headwinds have made funding more selective. By clearly articulating the pathways for support and showcasing successful examples, EnterpriseSG aims to empower a new generation of entrepreneurs to build globally competitive companies from Singapore.
Aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders are encouraged to visit the Enterprise Singapore website to explore the full suite of grants and partnership opportunities available to them.
