Weston Robot was honoured to welcome students from Escola Sun Wah, visiting from Macau, on a learning journey at our premises. Sharing our work with the next generation of curious minds is among the parts of what we do that we value most. We believe nurturing future talent in robotics is essential — not only for the field's continued growth, but for the kind of thoughtful, people-centred innovation we hope to see shaping the industry in the years ahead. Welcoming students from across the region into our space helps make that future tangible for them.

During their visit, the students were introduced to our Humanoid G1 platform and explored the ideas behind Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models — the class of AI systems that allow a humanoid robot to perceive its surroundings, understand instructions in natural language, and translate them into physical action. We walked them through how perception, language understanding, and motion come together in a single embodied system, and what this means for the next wave of humanoid robotics. Seeing the Humanoid G1 respond and act gave the students a concrete glimpse into where the field is heading.

We thank Escola Sun Wah and the accompanying educators for making the journey to Weston Robot, and for the thoughtful questions the students brought with them. Hosting visits like this is a privilege we don't take lightly, and we look forward to welcoming many more cohorts in the years to come. As humanoid robotics and embodied AI become a larger part of how the region builds its future, we remain committed to playing our part in inspiring the next generation of roboticists, engineers, and thinkers across Singapore and beyond.

06-14Weston Robot hosted MBA students and professors from Jilin University on a learning journey at our office, sharing insights into the robotics industry — market trends, deployment challenges, and how robotic systems are reshaping security, inspection, logistics, education, and public safety. Participants also got a close look at several Unitree Robotics products and how they're moving from labs into real commercial use.
04-20Welcoming Escola Sun Wah on a Learning Journey
Weston Robot welcomed students from Escola Sun Wah on a learning journey, introducing them to our Humanoid G1 platform and the Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models that power it. The visit gave students a close look at how perception, language, and action come together in a humanoid system, and reaffirmed our commitment to inspiring the next generation of roboticists across the region.
03-04Fudan University School of Management Students Visit Weston Robot for Industry Learning Experience
Weston Robot hosted 88 MBA students from Fudan University’s School of Management for a learning journey in Singapore. Students gained insights into the robotics industry, technology development, and commercialization. The visit included discussions with engineers, offering valuable exposure to robotics innovation and the growing role of technology in global industries.
