Weston Robot recently welcomed 88 MBA students from the School of Management, Fudan University, for a learning journey at our facility in Singapore. The visit provided students with the opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the rapidly evolving robotics industry and understand how emerging technologies are shaping the future of businesses and industries worldwide. During the session, the Weston Robot team shared insights into Singapore’s robotics ecosystem and highlighted how robotics and automation are increasingly being adopted across various sectors to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational capabilities.

During the program, students were introduced to the broader landscape of robotics development, including how robotic technologies are designed, developed, and brought from concept to real-world application. Our team shared perspectives on the robotics innovation process, industry trends, and how companies integrate technology, engineering, and business strategy to create impactful solutions. The session also highlighted how robotics companies collaborate with research institutions, industry partners, and governments to drive technological advancement.

The learning journey also provided an interactive platform for students to engage with Weston Robot engineers and industry practitioners. Through discussions and demonstrations, students gained a deeper understanding of robotics development, commercialization, and the business opportunities within the robotics sector. Weston Robot was honored to welcome students and faculty from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) for an immersive Learning Journey at our Singapore office. The delegation explored the latest advancements in AI, robotics, and embodied intelligence through hands-on demonstrations with our robot dog and AgileX robotic arm. Participants also gained valuable insights into our Vision-Language-Action (VLA) training workflow, learning how multimodal data is collected and used to train robots to understand human instructions and perform intelligent manipulation tasks.
