Weston Robot was pleased to welcome students and faculty from Nagoya University for an immersive Learning Journey that showcased the latest developments in AI, humanoid robotics, and embodied intelligence.

The visit began with an exciting live demonstration of the Unitree G1 humanoid robot boxing, highlighting its agility, balance, and dynamic motion capabilities.

The student was also introduced to Unitree's newest humanoid robot, the H2, a full-sized bionic humanoid standing approximately 1.82 metres tall with 31 degrees of freedom and powered by advanced computing designed to support large embodied AI models. Built for research, service, and industrial applications, the H2 represents the next step in developing humanoid robots capable of performing increasingly sophisticated real-world tasks.

Participants then enjoyed hands-on sessions with our robot dog and AgileX robotic arm, gaining practical insights into how different robotic platforms work together to accelerate embodied AI development. Our engineers demonstrated how these platforms are used in Weston Robot's Vision-Language-Action (VLA) training workflow, where robots learn by combining visual observations, language instructions, and manipulation demonstrations collected from real environments. Students witnessed how high-quality multimodal datasets enable robots to understand human intentions and perform complex manipulation tasks with greater autonomy. The Learning Journey concluded with engaging discussions on the future of humanoid robotics, embodied AI, and industry-academia collaboration.

The delegation explored the latest advancements in AI, robotics, and embodied intelligence through hands-on demonstrations with our robot dog and AgileX robotic arm.
