Weston Robot was delighted to welcome students and faculty from Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST) to our premises for an engaging robotics learning journey. With NJUST's strong engineering tradition and renowned expertise in robotics, particularly through its School of Mechanical Engineering, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to bridge academic knowledge with real-world industrial applications. We were pleased to share our experience in robotics development and demonstrate how intelligent robotic systems are transforming industries such as security, manufacturing, logistics, education, and research.

During the session, students experienced live demonstrations of our Unitree robot dogs and G1 humanoid robot, gaining first-hand insight into how these advanced platforms navigate, perceive their surroundings, and perform tasks across industries such as security, manufacturing, logistics, and research. Through hands-on interactions, they explored how classroom concepts in robotics, artificial intelligence, perception, and autonomous mobility are applied to intelligent robotic systems operating in real deployment environments. Our engineers also shared practical insights into the challenges of developing reliable robots, from integrating sensors and AI algorithms to ensuring safe and efficient operation outside laboratory settings. The interactive discussions gave students the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas with our engineering team, and gain a deeper understanding of the latest trends and career opportunities in robotics and AI.
We sincerely thank NJUST and its accompanying faculty for visiting Weston Robot and for bringing such an enthusiastic group of future engineers. We remain committed to supporting robotics education, inspiring the next generation of innovators, and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry as we work together to shape the future of intelligent robotics in Singapore and beyond.
